Public Speaking may seem like no big deal to some people, but have those people ever stood in front of a crowd with the bright lights and the butterflies in their stomachs, looking out at the eager and expecting faces staring back at them? Speaking in front of a group, large or small, can stir up a number of emotions from feeling scared, shy, excited, nervous, or overwhelmed, to feelings of happiness and the joy of being able to share what you know with a group of your peers. Either way, public speaking may be something you want to do, or something that is required of you in your personal or professional life.
Since opening SOS in 2004, public speaking engagements have been the most sought after service of those provided by SOS. Jennifer teaches Continuing Education Organizing Classes at Kirkwood Community College. She has presented at numerous conferences and workshops, and has hosted many open houses and social functions for business colleagues, friends, and family. SOS can help you gain the confidence and skills that you need to be a success in the area of Public Speaking.
